Global design leader Carrier Johnson + CULTURE promotes Claudia Escala, RA, LEED-AP, to principal. Escala will focus on high-end multi-family and urban mixed-use projects, sustainable building, and responsible and inspiring development. A resident of San Diego’s East Village neighborhood, Escala’s already prolific career has had a significant influence on the recent evolution of the Downtown San Diego skyline, having worked on project development and design for a number of new downtown landmarks.
Attendees at the Boutique Design New York trade fair, held at the Jacob K. Javits Center (New York, NY) November 13 – 14, had an opportunity to learn about how 3D printing is revolutionizing the design practice.
