Attendees at the Boutique Design New York trade fair, held at the Jacob K. Javits Center (New York, NY) November 13 – 14, had an opportunity to learn about how 3D printing is revolutionizing the design practice. Carrier Johnson + CULTURE’s very own Casey Mahon, Designer and Design Technology Director, and Chris Voltl, Designer, led a demonstration and presentation on the practical uses for the latest 3D printing technology at The Incubator on November 14.

This dynamic presentation highlights the recent evolution of 3D printing technology in the world of architecture and design, and provided helpful hints for those professionals looking to dive into the world of 3D printing. Casey and Chris’ presentation included live demonstrations of 3D printing, example architectural 3D prints, and a video showing the start-to-finish process.
