The San Diego Union Tribune recently published an article regarding appealing office spaces for the hard-working millennial and Carrier Johnson’s Helix Electric project was featured!  What makes the Helix Electric office stand out to millennials?  The open design concept. According to Gordon Carrier, “a key goal was to break down barriers between departments and promote better communication.”

Pitzer College Residence Hall Project Featured in Interiors & Sources


Carrier Johnson + CULTURE’s Pitzer College Residence project was just featured in the Interiors & Sources publication.  “The Top 10 Beyond LEED” article focuses on sustainable projects that support human health and happiness.  The LEED Platinum project is the newest addition to the student village as a mixed-use residence hall which includes more than 40 sustainable features including a green roof, solar cells, and incorporates natural light and ventilation.

Tidewater Community College Joint-Use Project Featured in the Library Journal


Carrier Johnson + CULTURE’s Tidewater Community College Joint-Use Library project was recently featured as an honorable mention for New Landmark Libraries of 2015 in the Library Journal publication. The 124,000 s.f. joint-use library received recognition for its “…emphasis on light, sustainability, and community connection.”
