Congratulations to Dina Gonzalez for completing her goal and becoming a California licensed Architect! She has been with the firm for 7 years and is also licensed in Mexico, specializing in multi-family residential, mixed-use, recreational and office projects.

“I’ve known I wanted to be an architect since I was 16. I love creating spaces that impact individuals and communities directly. Starting with their routine at home, helping their productivity at work, or in the spaces they like to relax, I believe I can make a positive impact in people’s lives through thoughtful design and architecture. Getting licensed has been a personal accomplishment I wasn’t expecting would be so meaningful because I didn’t realize, after 7 years working in the US, how much I longed to call myself an Architect. I highly encourage those working towards licensure to continue. It’s definitely worth it. ”

We are so proud that the The Legacy Center San Diego is nominated for a 2021 San Diego Architectural Foundation Orchid Award in the Architecture and Interior Design categories. Designed by Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, the center is a world-class destination resort as developed by Dr. Morris Cerullo, a San Diego resident since 1959 and celebrating over 72 years of his Morris Cerullo World Evangelism.

Park & Market is our second project this year that has received a 2021 San Diego Architectural Foundation Orchid Award!

Spanning a full city block in Downtown San Diego’s East Village, Park & Market is a new transit-oriented development that provides a complementary mix of public and private uses, contributing to a vibrant live/learn/work/play community. Anchoring the development is a 34-story residential tower (dubbed @themerianev) providing a total of 426 apartment units (with 20% designated as affordable [85 units]), which is responsive to the critical need for housing in the region and supportive of a mixed-income neighborhood.

Thank you, Seattle Daily Journal of Commerce for featuring the progress of our project at 12045 Slater Avenue N.E. located in the Totem Lake area of Kirkland, WA. The three-building project will consist of 484-unit apartments and 18,000 sf of retail/commercial space.

We are so proud to announce that The Link, our affordable housing project with Affirmed Housing in Downtown San Diego’s East Village, has won a 2021 San Diego Architectural Foundation Orchid Award!
The 7-story affordable housing project at 17th and G in Downtown San Diego’s East Village provides 72 permanent supportive housing units for persons earning below 40% area median income (AMI) and 14 affordable units for persons earning below 50% of the area median income. The project, dubbed “The Link,” exemplifies a vision of creating housing enriched with support resources – a special place that can link its formerly homeless residents with the help they need to survive and thrive.
