California Theater Project Front Page News on SDBJ


The California Theater project, designed by Caydon Property in partnership with carrierjohnson + CULTURE, is featured on the front page of this week’s San Diego Business Journal.. The project plans to recreate much of the old theater, including its ornate façade and marquee sign, and will soon become a residential tower including 444 condominium units, a dog park, gym, lap pool, sky deck and lounge above 7,445 square feet of retail space. COVID-19 and our commitment to you


Dear Carrier Johnson + CULTURE Clients, Friends and Colleagues,

The safety of our employees, clients, and the greater community remain our primary concern and as a result, we are closely monitoring official recommendations about how to best negotiate COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

In addition to communicating necessary precautionary measures to our staff, we want to assure you we are still working daily to advance your project needs, while making ours staff available to assist further day to day questions as required.

In the interest of keeping all safe and healthy during this unique circumstance, we have further decided that effective start of business Monday March 23rd, Carrier Johnson + CULTURE  will have many of our staff working via remote connection while continuing  to provide the high level design and technical support you have come to expect.

Our communication with you will be un-interrupted and the pace of project advancement you have come to expect from us will be foremost in our efforts.

Likewise, in the interest of mutual health safety, meetings will be directed to safe video conferencing.  We understand this is a fluid situation but are committed to doing what’s right for all involved.  Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
