After 15 years in downtown San Diego, NBC 7 recently moved to a new energy efficient headquarters facility with state-of-the-art broadcast technology.  The new two-level building spans more than 50,000 s.f. and includes a larger news studio as well as room for the station to grow.

Orchids & Onions 2016


Celebrating it’s 40 Year Anniversary, Orchids & Onions – San Diego’s salute to great and not so great architecture, held it’s annual awards banquet last night at the Spreckels Theater.  Out of the many projects nominated throughout the city in 5 categories (architecture, landscape architecture, historic preservation, interior design, and miscellaneous), the Point Loma Nazarene University Sator and Latter Science Center project was awarded one of the coveted Orchids!

Preservation-Minded Makeover


Carrier Johnson + CULTURE’s historic restoration project, located in the Skid Row area of Los Angeles, is a unique project for the firm. Under the direction of Kyle Peterson, the Los Angeles Office team is working with the guidelines set-forth by the State Historic Preservation Officer to restore the building’s exterior but is taking a more contemporary, eco-friendly approach to the interior renovations.

Vincent Mudd Named One of San Diego’s Top 100 Influential Leaders in San Diego


Highly committed to civic engagement, Vincent is past Chairman of the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation and the Chairman of the San Diego Exploratory Foundation. Vincent previously served as Chairman of San Diego’s Citizen’s Fiscal Sustainability Task Force, served on the board of directors of San Diego State University’s Campanile Foundation and the State Compensation Insurance Fund, and was Chairman of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is the former director for the San Diego County Water Authority and Metropolitan Water District.
