Vision

The Town & Country Resort transformed the Mission Valley area from agriculture and farmland into a destination for vacation goers and conference attendees. Building on the history of this pocket of San Diego as a vibrant, youthful neighborhood where people come to relax, congregate, and have fun, Holland Partner Group envisioned a resort-like collection of residences that offer people that same joyful experience on a long term-basis.

We worked with Holland to craft a site plan for 10 acres surrounding the Town & Country site that would be divided into four building parcels, each with its own identity. This walkable, mixed-use community – deemed The Society – offers residents high-value amenities, chic units, lush outdoor space, and central access to several popular destinations. The architectural language is clean with simple volumes and geometrics that pay homage to Town & Country’s mid-century modern influences. Clean lines and open, double-height spaces give way to other design features – such as trendy interior textures and finishes and lush landscapes and terraces.

Amenities include several lounges and co-working spaces, pool and spa areas, fitness centers, bike storage, EV charging stations, dog runs, and quick access San Diego’s beaches and nightlife. Here, residents can find opportunities for fun, relaxation, work, sociability, and physical activity, all within their own neighborhood.
