SDSU Secures $350M for Mission Valley Campus Project

The California State University Board of Trustees approved SDSU’s Mission Valley development plan, certified the associated environmental analysis, and allocated an initial $350 million for the project. This decision marks an important milestone in SDSU’s pursuit to purchase and take over the site for a satellite campus.

Carrier Johnson + CULTURE created the Master Plan for the development of the proposed expansion of the SDSU Campus, which transforms the existing Qualcomm stadium site into a walkable campus environment that includes housing, classrooms, a research park, hotels, retail and stadium, featuring 80 acres of open space and a $54M river park.
