The PLNU Science Complex encompasses two buildings connected by exterior walkways that house 36,000 s.f. of classroom and advanced teaching lab spaces. Perched atop a sloped hillside overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the science complex – dedicated as Sator Hall and Latter Hall – maximizes orientation to the east/west to create view corridors and includes an arced metal feature wall that protects the glass-faced learning spaces from the heat of the sun. Circulation is externalized to also take advantage of the natural setting, dramatic views and comfortable weather. PLNU’s new Science Complex provides a contemporary environment with state-of-the-art systems to maintain the growth and success of the University’s science program.
