High Desert Mental Health Center

Vision

In coordination with Design-Build partner, Penta Building Group, Carrier Johnson provided architecture, interior design and landscape architecture services for this 9,000 SF facility. intensive mental health treatment programs for individuals being discharged from other County services, including psychiatric emergency services, inpatient units, detention facilities, and psychiatric facilities.

The new building was designed to complement the existing Out-Patient Center and to add to the existing healthcare campus. Additionally the project provides a surface parking lot, an ambulance drive, and landscaping. The building program includes nurse stations, therapy rooms, seclusion rooms, and offices for health providers.
