611 Island

Vision

611 Island Avenue is a vibrant new mixed-use residential tower rising 37 stories above San Diego’s East Village. Designed with a strong connection to place and history, the development features 443 thoughtfully designed residences, 985 square feet of activated ground-floor commercial space, and two levels of subterranean parking with 52 spaces—all within a compact 20,000-square-foot urban site.

Located between 6th and 7th Avenues, the project is anchored by the rehabilitation and preservation of a local landmark: the historic Klauber-Wangenheim Building (HRB Site #159). This iconic structure will be carefully restored and integrated into the base of the tower, ensuring that the neighborhood’s cultural legacy remains a visible and celebrated part of the future.
