Orion Center

Vision

Currently in design, the Orion Center is a $40 million, 7.5-acre operations and maintenance campus that will serve as a critical hub for the City of Carlsbad’s public works and public safety departments.

The project includes a modern 10,000-square-foot office building, specialized workshops, auxiliary storage structure, and a specialized facility for secure police evidence storage. Designed for long-term functionality and resilience, the Orion Center brings together smart infrastructure, streamlined workflows, and sustainable strategies. Carrier Johnson + Culture is leading the effort to deliver design through full construction documents, coordinate permitting, and guide the project through construction with an integrated, multidisciplinary team.
