The Marketing Coordinator is a proactive and resourceful self-starter, able to produce under the pressure of multiple deadlines, providing enthusiastic support for the daily marketing activities at Carrier Johnson. The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for the creation and delivery of qualifications, fee proposals, solicitation responses and interview presentations in support of the firm’s Los Angeles and San Diego offices. This critical team member also provides on-going support in the areas of social media and updates to marketing collateral. Required Skills:  Understanding of the A/E/C industry.  Proficiency in InDesign, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.


  • Prepare qualifications, proposals & RFP responses for architecture, planning, landscape and interior design services pertinent to the following market sectors: Government, Healthcare, Higher Education, Hospitality, Mixed-Use, Multi-Family, Office, Science & Laboratories
  • Work with architects/designers to develop proposal sections, such as scopes of services and related fee proposals
  • Solicit proposal content from sub-consultants
  • Assemble RFQ/RFP submissions for printing and coordinate delivery


  • Assemble presentation materials for interview rehearsals
  • Create PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepare interview handouts


  • Provide eBooks and market sector booklets to Architects and Designers soliciting prospective clients
  • Maintain supply of printed market sector brochures for outreach with prospective clients


  • Create resumes for new employees
  • Update professional staff resumes on a regular basis


  • Refresh website with new design projects, expanded services, new team members, new offices, awards, updated project imagery, employee photos, press coverage, and company milestones, etc.
  • Add headshots and talent bios of new employees
  • Add new project photos
  • Update office locations and addresses


  • Post to Social Media accounts on a regular basis: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter
  • Prepare Ads for sponsorships of special events


  • Update client reference list on an on-going basis
  • Update project experience list on an on-going basis
