Interior/Architecture/Designer Job Captain

This position requires the following:

1. Bachelors degree in related field
2. 5-10 years of experience in related field
3. Revit working experience (not just classes)
4. Basic knowledge of functional analysis and space planning principles
5. Participation in problem solving solutions with team
6. Acknowledgement and respect of project deadlines
7. Proactive communication skills
8. Have a always learning attitude
9. Ability to ask questions and seek the why to design solutions
10. Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within field
11. Knowledge of interior code requirements
12. Ability to interpret specifications and layouts
13. Strong organizational and communication skills
14. Presentation software knowledge a plus (photoshop/other)
15. The ability to create relationships with the architectural product and furniture manufacturer representatives in local market
16. Firm representation/attendance at Industry events within the local or national design community.
17. Strong emotional EQ.

This position is responsible for the following:

1. Supporting the lead designer and project managers on your projects
2. Executing tasks as required by the team which may include client interface, research, design, presentation, construction documents, finish selection, furniture specification, construction site visits, and other tasks
3. Tracking schedule, contract, and deliverables as required by the team
4. At all times, delivering product and services with a great attitude and the highest professional standards.

Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000
