Legacy International Center’s Museum, Pavilion, and Hotel Each Receive LEED Certification

Congratulations to The Legacy Center San Diego on receiving separate LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification for their Museum, Pavilion, and Hotel. According to the organization, “…LEED provides a framework for healthy, highly efficient, and cost-saving green buildings. LEED certification is a globally recognized symbol of sustainability achievement and leadership.”

Legacy’s Pavilion, Museum and Hotel…
benefit from an on-site photovoltaic system that generates 436,654 kWh annually
benefit from 15 electric vehicle charging stations, able to charge 30 vehicles every eight hours
have energy cost savings ranging between 18.2% and 20.9%
are part of the successful Legacy International LEED Master Site
