The tower, designed by Carrier Johnson + CULTURE, would be located in San Diego’s East Village and is proposed to be a mixed use development consisting of 241 dwellings, above-grade parking garage levels, and commercial space. “The historic façade of the existing structure will remain, while the interior is proposed to be demolished and reconstructed to house a large-scale general merchandise retailer, containing a grocery component.”
